The second death anniversary of His Lordship Bishop
Frank Marcus Fernando was commemorated on 27th August. The
second volume of the Book of Sermons of Bishop
Marcus was released after the Eucharistic
celebration at the Cathedral Chilaw.The Vicar
General Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Wijesinghe
co-ordinates the distribution and sales.

C. Lowe passed away |

Rev. Fr. Nicholas C. Lowe, the National
Director of Catechetics and the Diocesan
Director of Education passed away on Monday
the 7th at a private hospital in Colombo
after a brief illness. His body will lie in
state at Marawila Church of Our Lady of
Purification. |

their 13th annual Feast and the concert on 21st
September 2011. Rt. Rev. Dr. Valence Mendis the
Bishop of Chilaw was the chief guest and also some
Fathers and Sisters were present the occasion.

3rd September. The students who completed the
Certificate Course in English and Computer Courses
were offered certificates. There were 456 recipients

education, that would help reinforce positive values on love

Celebrations, on the 26 of June 2011 with the Festive Holy
Mass celebrated by his Lordship the Bishop of Chilaw. His
Lordship blesses a statue of Our Lady erected in memory of the
jubilee. It will be an everlasting memory of the jubilee. |
